Avery Bradley takes his talents to sacred land

Avery Bradley has become the 62º NBA player from last season to sign a contract overseas. The 20-year-old point guard, who averaged 1.7 points and 0.4 assists during his rookie year with the Celtics, has agreed to play for Hapoel Jerusalem until the end of the lockout.

Bradley, selected by the Celtics with the 19th overall pick in the 2010 draft after his freshman year in Texas, will join an interesting team with players like Luke Jackson, D.J. Strawberry or the amazing shot-blocker Jarvis Varnado. Not bad for a team that will fight to challenge the dominance of Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
